sinopsis | Courtney Swain was born in Japan and began studying classical piano when she was 4. She studied voice, classical composition and music production at the famous Berklee College of Music in the US. While perhaps best known as co-founder, lead vocalist and keyboarder of the renowned US art rock ensemble Bent Knee, Swain has also released three records as a solo artist. Her third album, the EP 'Growing Pains', is strongly marked by her impressive vocals, showcasing Swain's brilliant composition skills and highly personal, powerful lyrics in songs that take the listener on an inner journey ranging from delicate poetic images to violent emotions. |
